I want to add a custom field between company name and title and also want to apply my css on that field.

If you don’t use the filters already provided, then I’m thinking to add that capability as a location field, but haven’t gotten to it.

Maybe this weekend when out cycling.

So much for waiting. I was curious how quickly the 2.8 updates made adding new fields. Quick it seems.

Version 2.9.0 has a location field now.
