Custom Field – Select box Broken

I have added a custom field select box with booster plus. I have made the word “select” the placeholder but this placeholder is ignored and instead the select box defaults to the first available option.

The problem is the required feature of this custom field work if the field defaults to a real value. Everyone who fills out the form instead of picking a selection can skip over the custom field and because the default value is a real value instead of a placeholder woocommerce validates the submission without making the customer select something authentic first.

I am a premium user this is my 5th time posting here with no response but I thought I would give it a shot once more. I have paid extra for support please answer my question about this bug. Thank you
