custom field value – display link

Hello

I am hoping to display custom field values as links.

For instance if I have a custom field key called ‘more links about this’ and I put a link in as the value it is just output as plain text (ie. http://www.etcetc).

I’m a rank php amateur: digging round I find a function called make_clickable which seems relevant but I can’t really see how I would use it.

Obviously any help or advice whatsoever would be fantastic
