I’ve not tested ACF, but looking at it I would presume it would work in the backend BUT it wouldn’t show new fields on the frontend forms. Those do require the method mentioned in the wiki.

Thanks for the reply Mike !
Sadly , i don’t have enough wordpress knowledge to master this kind of editing , and i fail to understand how to edit it , so that ACF will work in front-end with Job Manager. ;DD
Do you see this kind of feature added in a future update of Job Manager? Or maybe you have some other ‘easy’ solution for me? ;p
I believe @corsonr was planning a GUI for editing fields. No idea when that will be ready though.
Perhaps until then you could consider getting a dev to customise your forms based on the tutorial in the wiki? Try http://jobs.wordpress.net/
I have almost finished the plugin to create custom fields from the administration: http://cld.wthms.co/kaWb cc @mikejolley

Whoa , that’s awesome !!! Can’t wait for it ;D
It should be a default feature in the next update, or a standalone plugin (addon) ?
Hey Remi,
Nice one – I was toying around with building one as well, but I reckon you’re much better suited to develop it. Look forward to seeing what it looks like. I’m sure it’ll be a hit!
I believe it will be an addon Remi will sell ^
Yup, I certainly hope he sells it – it’s the most requested feature in the support queries on here and a very valuable add-on…
And here it is http://www.remicorson.com/product/wp-job-manager-custom-fields/
It was tested and works fine, however if you discover any bug please let me know. I’ll add more fields in the next update.
