    1) When I originally installed your plugging on our WordPress website, I was able to create custom fields but it looks that this option is no longer available.

    Is this right?

    2) Do I need to purchase one of these two plugins “Gravity Forms or Custom Fields” in order to be able to modify existing custom fields and to add new custom fields?

    3) In addition we use SandGrid plugging to get email message when new ticket is created, but if we get following plugging “E-mail Support” from you do we still need SandGrid or it is no longer required?

    Hi:

If you just have the free version of Awesome Support you can create custom fields the way you always could – nothing has changed there. Please see the documentation on our site here: https://getawesomesupport.com/documentation/awesome-support/custom-fields/

You can purchase our Custom Fields add-on if you want a nice GUI to do that with.

The Gravity Forms add-on allow you to use the Gravity Forms form builder to create multiple custom ticket forms without being locked into the layout of the standard form. You can then map the data collected to one or more fields in Awesome Support. If you want to map/store some of the data you collect in custom fields then those fields need to exist – Gravity Forms will not create them for you in Awesome Support.

SendGrid generally allows you to SEND email from your site. The EMAIL SUPPORT add-on is designed to read incoming emails so as long as you have an INBOX that you can access via POP or IMAP you’re find. It has nothing to do with SendGrid – you’ll probably still need that to send out your emails.

One thing to check is to make sure that your WORDPRESS server has the POP / IMAP ports open – some WordPress hosts lock those ports and may or may not open them at your request.

    I hope this helps.
