Paid Member Subscriptions doesn’t directly offer form customization options like adding custom fields. But yes, this is available through Profile Builder: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/profile-builder/
The two plugins work together by letting you add a special type of field, Subscription Plans, to your Profile Builder form. So you can take a PMS payment directly from that form which can be customized with custom fields.

I have installed both plugins: Profile Builder and Paid Member Subscriptions. My question is—can these two plugins work together? Specifically, I want to know how to add a payment option directly on the Profile Builder registration form.
I can see that it’s possible to add Subscription Plans using Profile Builder, but I don’t see an option to integrate payments into that same form. Since the payment functionality is handled by the Paid Member Subscriptions plugin, how can we ensure that payments are also processed when a user selects a subscription plan during registration?

Payments are tied to subscription plans. There is nothing in particular to configure in regards to Payments from PMS when you configure the Profile Builder form, you just need to add the field with the plans.
When you add the Subscription Plans field to the Profile Builder form and you select a plan which is paid, the payment configuration from Paid Member Subscriptions will be displayed as well on that form, at the end, after all of the other fields.
