    Hi there,

    I have a question about the plugin. It works fine, I just can’t seem to get one thing done. I have created a custom profuct field with optional upgrades. these fields are shown during the entire checkout process, but not in the email that the customer and admin receive. I’ve tried everything to get this in the mail, but I just can’t get it to work. Does anyone happen to know if this is possible and how I can add it to the email?

    Hi @frankg2013,

    Yes, currently the product attributes and any custom fields are not being added to the email. I will try to include this in one of the coming updates.

    The update should be out in about 2 weeks. Will keep you posted.

    I have applied a patch in the plugin which will add the item meta details (product attributes) in the initial emails which are sent to the admin & the customer.

    The patch is currently available on GitHub on the link below:
    https://github.com/pinalj/quotes-for-woocommerce/tree/fixes-1.8

    I believe you use the Advanced Product Fields plugin on your site for the custom attributes. I request you to kindly take the plugin copy from the link above & test it on a development/staging site.

    Please check and let me know if this fixes the issue for you or no. The fix will be released in the coming update which will mostly be out in a week or so.

    Hi Pinal,

    I downloaded the patch and overwritten the files on the website, unfortunately the custom product fields are not yet shown in the emails.

    I do use the Advanced Product Fields plugin

    I have tested the plugin with the Advanced Product Fields plugin.

    It’s strange the same is not working at your end.

    Can you kindly send me the WP admin access and FTP access to a staging/dev site where the issue is replicated?

    I’m sorry Pinal,

    I suddenly saw that I still had a folder in my child theme with the emails, after deleting this folder it worked great!
