Custom Fields Search Form not Applying

    Hi there,
    I just spent some time creating custom search forms ([adverts_list]) and when I try to shortcode them into my page, it is still just the standard search.
    I also tested it by clicking automatically apply this scheme to the search form I made and nothing changed from the standard [adverts_list].
    I was following the documentation fine but I’m not sure if there is something I have done wrong.
    I shortcoded it as [adverts_add form_scheme=”listname”]

    Hi,
    hmmm i am not sure can you add here a screenshot from your search form configuration that would help debugging?

    When I add a new basic field, does it matter that those have a field name like custom_field_example or should they be something different?

    As a last ditch effort to fix it this morning (cause I was on a deadline) i deleted the all the forms that weren’t working, then I backed up my site, and imported it again (my whole site). I updated all of my other plugins and then tried it again, redid the search forms in the same way which seemed to have fixed whatever issue I had because my search functions are showing up now the way that I need them to.
    All the attempts I had tried weren’t working yesterday, even reinstalling and deleting the forms, but today that worked.

    Hi,
    ok, i am glad you have it fixed now, not sure why deleting the forms and recreating them worked for you.

    Either way, the field names you have are fine, all field names should be ok as long as they do not have a white space.
