Custom Fields not displaying

    Hi, I have taken over a website that uses CPT UI, it used to display a CustomField (Table) on the posts, but recently has stopped working (I have no idea how recently). They still display in Admin, but on the Front end, its just displays the shortcode e.g.: [table field-name=”dates_table”] I have not so far been able to establish the area which is causing the error. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Without knowing much else about the site, if it’s just showing the shortcode itself instead of the parsed results of the shortcode, then something happened to whatever was registering the shortcode.

    Possibly got removed from the theme files? or if it’s a plugin, did that get deactivated somehow?

    Many thanks for the reply. Looks to be an issue with Elementor displaying custom fields. A work around is to use a shortcode [acf field=”dates”] But this only seems to work for ext fields.
