Custom header for different posts and categories

Hi~! I want to add a custom header for each post, page and possibly category. I used plugin to achieve custom header images on the toolbox theme for posts and pages. The plugin – Custom Header Images – doesn’t work with this theme. I also used another plugin – WP Display Header – and that one doesn’t work either. They worked on the other themes I had but not this one and this leads me to believe the header code in this theme is incompatible with the plugins. Are there any adjustments I can make to the theme’s code to make the custom header images for posts, pages and categories? Thank you for all your help~!
