  • Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS troubleshooting. Or use whatever developer tool is available in your web browser.

    Hi Esmi,

Thank you for taking the time to reply but I do not understand your response.

Firstly what code should I use to stop the custom header in itek from repeating and will using Firefox with Firebug add on fix the problem once I have the right code?

Using Firefox with Firebug add-on will help you locate the CSS that you need to over-write.

I see… I guess I need to find a tutorial in using Firebug to locate the CSS or is it pretty much straight forward?

    Very straightforward.
    – install Firebug
    – Load up page in Firefox
    – Right-click on the element you want to investigate
    – Select “Inspect element with Firebug”

and all of the relevant CSS will then be displayed for you.

    Hi Esmi,

I’ve downloaded Firebug and followed your instructions: right clicked on the header image and selected Firebug – then CSS but was given this ridiculously long CSS – in which I can not tell what part belongs to the header image – any help?

Perhaps you need to read up on how to use CSS? The following are useful resources:

Cheers – I’ll hire someone to do it.
