• I am just taking over this site and have had trouble getting the offline backup copies to a functioning site. Now that is done, I still am not able to change the header text to reflect the change in the URL. I have tried the built-in wordpress header and nothing changes. I know this is a custom theme that was built so I am already a little confused on it. Any guidance where to start. I’ve looked in the header.php file to change the text but nothing there. I tried finding the default location thinking it was an image so I could swap it out with a new one that I created. Newbie here just looking for help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

What do you have for the site name and tagline in settings->reading? I’d start there, then look into your theme’s options.

(Just based on my experience with gastroenterological scoping, I”m not sure I like pictures of smiling doctors. You should not be having fun! I certainly wasn’t.)

Steve,
I looked in there and tried to modify it. The tagline was actually blank, so it not pulling it from there as the source. I did go into Theme settings and I see what I need. This is what was there:

William B. Evans, M.D.
gastrodoctorlouisville.com

I tried changing the url and publish but changes wont go into effect.

-Yeah, just trying to make light of the situation. Could be worse with an angry doctor.
