Hey @gulamanu,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Please note that while you may have discovered the issue now, this does not seem to be related to our plugin.
The shortcode “[product ID=”1916″]” is not part of our plugin. If deactivating our plugin does not resolve this, then this issue would be related to something else.
Hi Harris,
Thanks for your quick anwser!
I know that the shortcode I mentioned is not related with your plugin (is actually a short code from woocommcerce that shows an specific product).
What I mean is that I had that shortcode inside of an “custom html widget” and It was working ok. But as soon as I updated the plugin stoped working.
And also If I add any shotcode inside that “custom html widget” do not work (included [mc4wp_form id=”xxx”])
Is it possible that the plugin is messing with that widget?
By the way, if I add the shortcode on the “text widget”, it works.
thanks!
Hey @gulamanu,
I tested this and can confirm that our shortcode works in the text widget but not the HTML widget.
But this is again not related to our plugin. If this worked for you earlier, then it’s possible there were some changes in WordPress.
Did you try with an older versión of your plugin? because it was working before the update. Can you please guide me on how to delete all the data from your plugin (files and DB), I read that I should only delete de folder, or uninstall it, but for sure some data still remains.
Thanks again! I am sorry on bothering you.
Hey @gulamanu,
Yes, I tested with version 4.7 and it’s still the same. As mentioned earlier, if this issue was coming from our plugin, then disabling our plugin would have resolved it.
Regarding the deletion of plugin data, I regret to say there is no automated way in our plugin to do so.
Hey @gulamanu,
If you have a backup of your website from the past which you feel worked, then I would recommend using it to set up a testing site.
