Custom image URL's?

    Hi,

    I’ve just realised that all my images in my galleries inherit their URL’s from the original file name’s when they’re uploaded and I am unable to change this in the URL section of the Media uploader. I can change it, but the change doesn’t work after ‘saving’.

    ie: image33.jpg, after uploading has a URL of:

    http://www.samantha.com/works/image33

    when i want it to be for example:

    http://www.samantha.com/works/morning

    Do I need to go back and reupload all of my images with the titles I would like to appear on the URLs, or is there an easier way? There must be an easier way!

    (I’ve already tried playing with the permalinks options, doesn’t seem to help)

    To simplify my question – is it possible to create custom URLs for images in a gallery, or does the URL just automatically incorporate the file name when uploaded?
