How can I add a custom menu and control which pages the menu appears on?

Thanks Esmi, but these pages don’t really answer my question.

Let’s say I have 4 pages that all user the same template file, but only 2 of those pages require the custom menu. Is there a way to do this through admin, without the need to place a lot of ‘ifs’ throughout the template files?

The pages would need at least 2 different templates – one that use wp_get_nav_menu() and one that doesn’t
