    Hi,

I’m testing out the free version and considering purchasing the paid version.

I’m using shortcodes on each page for individual services, i.e. [ameliabooking service=1], which displays the booking calendar for that specific service.

If I want to temporarily disable a specific service the page with the shortcode containing said service (for example just hiding it from the backend settings), on the frontend it just shows the hourglass icon perpetually spinning without ever showing a calendar.

Question is, is there a way to instead show to the user a custom message, e.g. “We’re sorry but this service is temporarily unavailable at the moment”? Adding some code to functions.php is fine, if it is an option.

    Thanks and Regards.

    Hello there.

Thank you for your interest in Amelia, and sorry for the late response.

You can’t add a custom notification for this, but we do have a notice in the full version that says:

“It seems like there are no employees or services created, or no employees are assigned to the service, at this moment.
If you are the admin of this page, see how to Add services and employees.”

So, if you go for the full version, you will be able to edit this text with POEdit or Loco translate, so it says something else.

    We hope that helps.
