custom mobile theme

Hi. I have questions:

1. What’s the difference of Browser Detection and Subdomain in Core Settings?

2. Can I choose my own (mobile) theme to send to mobile user?
I found the default Unus is limited. I want to use a custom header section (and a custom template) for mobile.
