Upon attempting to use the custom navigation option for the Post Widget, it does not seem to work.

I’ve added the Pagination class with the randomly generated ID (ex. “6008260-slide-next”) to a widget, but the slider does not react. Note that the random ID changes on each save.

I’ve also added a unique CSS id to the widget (e.g. UNIQUEID-slide-next”) with no luck.

Is there a step I’m missing?

    Hi @dscg,

I’ve done some tests with different settings and I unfortunately couldn’t reproduce the issue on my side. The custom navigation relies on the widget’s ID, which Elementor generates automatically. Normally, this ID should remain the same unless the widget itself or a section containing the widget is duplicated or copy-pasted.

Let’s check a few things to narrow down the issue:

    1. Ensure the Correct ID Is Being Used
If the widget was duplicated, Elementor might have assigned a new ID, so double-check that you’re using the latest one.

    2. Try Re-adding the Navigation Buttons
Try removing the navigation buttons, saving the page, and then adding them again with the widget class.

    3. Check for Any JavaScript Errors
Open the browser console and check if there are any errors being logged. Sometimes a js error can prevent the other scripts from working properly.

    4. Check for Conflicts with 3rd-Party Plugins
If you’re using any other Elementor addons, there may be conflicts that affect the widget’s ID. Try disabling other plugins temporarily to see if that resolves the issue.

If the issue persists, let me know, and I’ll think of a fallback mechanism for the upcoming version.

Thanks, Dara, for the effort to reproduce this issue. I returned to find that it was working fine! I am not sure why I was experiencing the previous behaviors.

Also, thank you for providing this plugin to the community!
