Custom post categories are interchangeable

    We created a Taxonomy called content types, and within this we have two categories called, “webinars” and “guides”.

    Here’s the weird thing. The URL feature for “content type” seems to be interchangeable.

    For instance, a URL like the following is a “webinar”:
    domain.com/content/webinars/2019-amazon-recap/

    You can see the URL contains “webinars”, but if you change that word in the URL with “guides”, you will see the same exact post”

    domain.com/content/guides/2019-amazon-recap/

    How can I make it so that it’s only the one post that shows for the correct post type?

    I’m trying to make sure I have your information correct.

    Taxonomy: content_types with possible rewrite of content
    term 1: webinars
    term 2: guides

    if you didn’t do a rewrite setting of content for your content types, then what is content from the url examples?

    what is 2019-amazon-recap is it a child term of one or both terms from term 1 and 2 above? Is it a post name.

    If the amazon recap portion is a post name, then I am assuming you have some sort of permalink customization going on as I’ve not seen /taxonomy-slug/term/post-slug/ as permalink structure out of box. It also seems like you may have multiple terms associated with the same post, and I don’t know of any ways offhand to prevent this duplicate content aspect, outside of whatever tools/features that popular SEO plugins have. It’s not something CPTUI itself covers though.
