    Hi @stotoglou!

In the Pro version of our slider we have a custom posts generator:
    https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1625-wordpress-custom-posts-generator
which could generate slides from your post type too.

What you need to know about this is, that there are many ways of storing images in each posts. We are trying to ask all of them down, but sometimes only the ID is stored, not the image itself. What I can tell you like this, that if you would consider purchasing the Pro version because of this feature, we have a 2 week refund policy, which means if Smart Slider 3 Pro doesn’t work the way you need it to, you can ask for your money back.

Also this custom post generator was made to display 1 post’s data on 1 slide. So for example what you cannot do is, that if you have a gallery at each post, you cannot create only one slider, to automatically populate the images of the currently viewed post.
What you can do is, that you could show the latest posts, where 1 image would be connected to 1 post, to 1 slide. The regular WordPress posts generator could show you this part:
    https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/139-wordpress-posts-generator
which is available in the Free version too.
