Custom Post Type Category Page

Hi.

I have a site: http://bit.ly/1R8etnj – on the homepage the featured images are from a custom post type of portfolio and only showing those assigned a category ‘for sale’.

On the gallery pages: for sale, past paintings, commissions, and exihibitions – it’s the same deal as the homepgae displaying custom post from the portfolio custom post type – and only showing posts assigned the relevant category for each page.

This WAS working totally fine – and still works fine on localhost. However – for some reason the gallery pages have stopped pulling in the portfolio posts.

The only thing I think I could have done is add two new plugins – facebook like and WP Stats. I’ve removed both these plugins wondering if that caused the issue but it hasn’t resolved the problem.

Any idea what could have happened? I could just wipe it and re upload from the localhost but I’d rather understand why this happened and try to fix the issue.
