Custom post type search results sorting

    Hello,

    I used a classified ad theme to sort ads
    https://demos.appthemes.com/classipress/

    Except that the search results are still sorted according to the published date, everything else works fine. I tested the default post type and it seems that there is no such problem.

    Hi @weiching-lin,

    if I understand you correctly, when you use the search function in the posts table, you expect the search results to be displayed in your custom post order. However, currently they are displayed sorted by date in a custom post type.

    We do not influence the order of search results. In general, they should not be ordered according to your custom order, but rather so that the most relevant results are displayed, so that the search works best.

    Accordingly, we will not implement this feature at this time.
