Custom Post Types – version 3.0

    I am new to WordPress having recently installed 2.9.2 and now version 3.0. In the video of 3.0 I saw something about Custom Post Types. How do I get these? I am particularly interested in the Newsletter aspect. I produce a monthly newsletter and would like to create a page intirely dedicated to the monthly newsletter so members can read the newsletter on the web site.

    I thought it would be alrreadu installed. How do I install it?

    My problem is I do not know enough about WordPress in order to create a Custom Post Type. Not a clue. I would like to add one called Newsletters or a page that is called newsletters. I would havee a month newlsetter for members to read.

    Whichever way is the best to go.

    In your database? May I ask why you need to know?
