Custom Post Widget conflicts with other plugins

The only way to fix this, is for the developer of the events manager plugin to properly use the content filter, in this blogpost you can find more information on this: http://pippinsplugins.com/playing-nice-with-the-content-filter/

I have added the ‘Do not apply content filters’ option because many plugins just add their stuff to all posts that are displayed (see the faq). As you noticed this is not an ideal solution, but a hack. (Note that you could try adding the required html paragraph tags yourself to stop text from being displayed on one line).
