custom posts gone

    Hi,
    What is the plugin you’re using to give you custom posts, etc. I’ve seen this once before and it may be related to a conflict with another plugin.

    also, what is the theme you are using for your web site?

    Hi,
    I am using MediaStore theme, there is no plugin i use for the custom post, its in the theme’s options.

    ok…that interesting as all the themes from that company run into conflicts with my plugin. not sure why. I’ll need to download one of their themes to see what is going on…they are the only theme that has this problem with my plugin.

    also, I can see on their page the following:

    “Note: This theme uses custom post types for review pages instead of normal posts. Not all plugins work with custom post types but most do now.”

    ok, thats a bummer, i really like your plugin.
    hope you can maybe get a fix for that in the future thanks.

    Not sure if you going to read this, but I may have figured out the problem you ran into with my plugin changing your permalinks..if you’re still interested, let me know here.

    Hi
    Try going into the file in the /inc folder that is called rss_feed.php. There is a line there that is

    $wp_rewrite -> flush_rules();

    Comment out this line by placing 2 slashes before it //

    Save the file and see if that solves the problem.

    Just had to flush my permalinks again after commenting it out.

    I had the same issue. Worst weekend ever until I found this thread. This issue also occurred on wpexplorer.com theme “Office” for custom post types and portfolio pages. // worked! Will this be fixed in future updates or will I need to go in and change again when I update?

    Hello
    I’ll pushing a new update today which will solve this problem…just update the plugin (2.5) in the next hour or so when it’s live.
