Custom posts not appearing in widgets

    None of the following widgets in the Colormag theme appear to show custom post types, even when they have the correct category (i.e. the custom post’s assigned taxonomy category is selected on the widget).

    TG: Featured Posts (Style 1)
    TG: Featured Posts (Style 2)
    TG: Highlighted Posts
    TG: Featured Category Slider

    Is this deliberate or a bug?

    Hi @jerrythorpe,

    We appreciate you writing in,

    The widgets that you have mentioned can only be used for the default posts and categories provided in the theme. As the category “taxonomy” is not available in ColorMag’s widget, may we know if you are using any plugins to add the category for your post? If you are using any third-party plugin to create custom post types and trying to use those custom post type categories on the ColorMag widgets then it is not possible with the current feature of the theme.
