    Ciao tutti,

I have a question about products sorting methods through which you can sort all the products in the catalogue by the numbers on your own specific style, starting from #1 to #1000… for example.

Currently, it is possible throughout product metadata => advance => menu order.
I am using Polylang to present a multilingual web site in three different languages, but the problem is that the product metadata is only accessible from the main language that you’ve already defined the product. If you want to edit the sorting order by this method, it is only possible to modify only one language and the other languages stay the same sorting order before.

    Saluti,

    Hi there,

Out of the box, WooCommerce is only designed to work with a single language at any one time. Of course, this can be extended through the use of additional language plugins (like PolyLang) but it’s up to those 3rd party plugins as to which options are transferable between languages – it’s not something that core WooCommerce plugin itself as any direct control over.

Practically speaking, this means you’d need to get in touch with the support team from PolyLang to take a closer look into that.

    Dear @riaanknoetze

With great thanks to your reply, I found how to solve this issue. You are right, this topic is related to the plugin that I am using to integrate Woocommerce with Polylang which name is hyyan woocommerce polylang integration. There is an option to lock or unlock all the product features when you edit all the products version, no matter if it is original language or the others.

    best regards,
    Houman
