    Hi,

using somehow this tutorial I managed to accomplish my goal to create custom product types – sell and rent – for an RV shop seller but the Woocommerce attributes tab doesnt show. Any thought how Google for Woocommerce can use my Custom product type as a feed?

    Thank you

    Hi there!

Thanks for your question. I can see how adding custom product types like sell and rent would be useful for your store setup.

At the moment, the Google for WooCommerce extension only supports the following product types for syncing to the Google Merchant Center feed:

    • Simple
    • Variable
    • Virtual
    • Downloadable
    • Bundle (only simple bundles, and only if you’re using the Product Bundles extension)

Because of this, custom product types are not supported, and they won’t appear in the Google product feed generated by the extension. as explain here https://woocommerce.com/document/google-for-woocommerce/faq/

If you need to send additional data to Google, you can still make use of custom fields and map them through the Attribute Mapping feature For more details you can use this guide. https://woocommerce.com/document/google-for-woocommerce/attribute-mapping/use-cases/#mapping-custom-fields

I understand how that can feel.
