custom profile page

    Hello,

    I am not a big fan of the WP profile page on the backend and the few possibilities for customisation of this page.

    My clients (users) should be able to see and edit their profile on the backend, and therefore this profile page should be a little different.

    No need for the Personal Options.
    I know it is possible to hide those personal options, but (a) the title is still visible on the profile page and (b) with slow connections you still see for a second those personal options on screen.

    No need for About Yourself
    I see some functions in order to hide this section, but they do not seem to work (any more).

    Add new mandatory fields
    I would like to add some extra fields (this is not a problem) and make them required (I did not found a solution to this).

    Hide other information and reorder all fields
    I did not find a solution to hide the “Nickname”, “Display name publicly as”. And besides that, I would like to order all fields the way I like.

    Are there any ways to accomplish this?
