Custom Registration Field File/Image Error

    Hi,

    Under Membership -> Registration Fields, I’m using the a custom Registration Form Field with the type of File/Image. I have this form field Enabled, but not required.

    When a new user attempts to sign up as a Vendor, and they elect to skip this field, they receive the following error:

    “Uploaded files need to be one of the following file types: jpg|jpeg|jpe, gif, png, pdf, doc, docx”

    Again, I do not want this field set as required. However it seems that the user cannot continue with registration without uploading a document.

    Hi,

    Well, if file upload is not essential then you may use normal text field and ask user to insert file URL!
