Custom Role is Not Saving Changes

    I am attempting to update the capabilitues of a custom role. I check the appropriate boxes and then click on the update button. The changes appear to be saved and work briefly as they should, however the assigned changes only last for a few moments for the user role to which they have been applied and the various checkboxes return to their unchecked state.

    I am having this exact same problem, it’s frustrating as hell.

    I solved it for my use case by editing the individual user via Users/All Users then mouseover the particular user and click on Capabilities then update from there rather than going through Users/User Role Editor.

    I figured out the same thing yesterday. This is a solid workaround, unless there are a LOT of users to edit.

    I have the same issue. Its been a nightmare. Going to have to move to an alternative plugin.
