Custom role not showing up

Hi,

We are using a custom role, and want to limit some of the options visible in the admin panel. When I started the role showed up in the column, so I changed some of the option on the front-end admin bar, I saved and logged into the other user to see the changes.
This worked. the options I didn’t want to see were gone.
Now I returned to the adminimize settings & the role is not displayed in any of the columns.
Reloaded the page a couple of times, but I don’t see them any more.

Does any one know what can cause this?
