Custom Role Permissions

I manage a complex site with a few custom WordPress roles. I would love to be able to assign privileges in this plugin based on custom roles, or better yet capabilities.

Any plans to change or extend the canUserDoRoleOption based on capabilities, or is that complex beyond the scope of this plugin?
