Custom search fields possible?

Hallo,

I would like to build in the store locator plugin. But I need extra search filters besides zipcode, locatiion etc.
The plugin will be installed on a website for a audio company. When people search it need to be possible to search by postcode or location and also by audio brand via multiple checkboxes. Because not every store sells the same audio brands.

Is this possible and what are the possible additional costs for this feature?
