Custom Sidebar Not Displaying

    I have created a new eCommerce WordPress site with the Alidropship Rembrandt theme, which does not come with a Widget area nor a sidebar for the Blog area. I added the required code to add a widget area, in which I have saved a Search widget and a Text widget; I have installed the Custom Sidebars plugin and added a new sidebar which I have named “Blog Sidebar”, and I have published a simple test post and set the blog post to display the Blog Sidebar – but there is no sidebar at all. Can you suggest what might be causing this problem?

    Since your using a commercial theme it’s impossible for us to test what exactly is going on. However, based on your description I’d try changing the sidebar location settings as the theme might not have all the necessary hooks implemented so the sidebar is not showing. If that doesn’t work either, contact theme support.
