The widget zone in Hueman Theme does not have context for BBPress.

In other words, you cannot have a “custom sidebar” for BBPress.
You can try to find a suitable custom sidebar plugin.

BBPress offers a few widgets that can be used. The problem is not that, the problem is that, in general, my Hueman theme will not even let me override the sidebar layout rules. I already have a plugin there for custom sidebar, but for that to work, the first step is to override the layout on a particular page. And that is not working.
I have now managed to override the sidebars. So in general, it seems to work, but as soon as I publish that page, that is assigned to bbpress, it “forgets” its sidebar layout that I have set. Very confusing problem indeed. Something must be causing a conflict, and I have to say, I already hate BBpress even after just playing with it for a day….

You can post a support request in BBpress plugin’s forum.
Ask them for help in guiding you to create a custom template for BBpress,
You should be able to create one from Hueman’s page.php or single.php
Register your own sidebar to use in your bbpress custom template.
