Custom Sidebars plugin not compatible …notice

    Hello Sirs,

    I got this notice a while ago:

    IMPORTANT 🔥
    Custom Sidebars plugin is NOT compatible with the new widgets edit screen (powered by Gutenberg).
    Install the official Classic Widgets plugin if you want to continue using it.
    ———————————————————
    Should I install this plugin and delete the Custom Sidebars Plugin?

    Please advise. Thanks in advance!

    That’s totally up to you, but based on your question, I think you might be misunderstanding something

    Many sidebar-related plugins, including Custom Sidebars, are not compatible with block-based Widgets. If you’re taking advantage of the functionality provided by Custom Sidebars, then you should probably:
    a) keep Custom Sidebars
    b) install this plugin

    If you’re NOT taking advantage of Custom Sidebars functionality, or you are but would rather use block-based Widgets instead, then you should probably:
    a) deactivate Custom Sidebars
    b) NOT use this plugin
