custom-sidebars – Plugin removal

    I no longer need this plugin, so how do I perform a clean removal without affecting anything else on the site?

    If you’re not using any custom sidebars and you don’t have any widgets in them, then you can remove the plugin. If you do have custom sidebars, then you can’t remove the plugin without losing those sidebars and widgets.

    Thanks,I did try de-activating the plugin without deleting it on my staging site. The only problem observed was a loss of all Events in “The Events Calendar”, but this could well have been due to other maintenance tasks at the time.
