Custom Status entries

This is a two part question….
- Certain status entries work with the Google Calendar Plugin so when the status is changed, that appointment disappears from the calendar when updated. Is there a way to put in a custom status that would remove the entry from Google Calendar without opening the booking for availability? For example, Blocked time entries appear on the Google Calendar when made… I would want the option for them to not appear.
- On the dashboard widget, is there a way to filter the entries by status? I would like to remove “blocked” time entries or a specific custom status entry from the dashboard widget.
