Custom tabs disappearing

    Hello,

    I have been using this plugin on one of my sites for a while now, and have noticed that recently, many of my custom tabs have been disappearing. I exported the product data when it happens, and the serialized string, which is usually in the from a:5:{……}, is now changed to a:0:{}. So completely empty. And I have no idea why that is.

    Any help would be appreciated. The link I am linking to may not reflect the problem soon, as I will be manually remaking the tabs, but this keeps happening to me, and I would like to learn the nature of the issue so that I can find a solution.

    I have auto updates turned off, so my woocommerce is v4.0.1, and this plugin is v1.7.1. WordPress version is 5.5.3.

    Hi @ghostfacek,

    That is certainly very strange. My first suggestion would be to update your plugins, as that version of WooCommerce is from back in March.

    Do you have any other WooCommerce-related plugins installed? I’m wondering if there is something else hooking into the save function that might be interfering.

    I have many other woocommerce plugins installed. Here is a list:

    WooCommerce Additional Variation Images
    Variation Swatches for WooCommerce
    WOOF – WooCommerce Products Filter

    WOOCS – WooCommerce Currency Switcher
    Premmerce Product Search for WooCommerce (Premium)

    I have updated woocommmerce to the latest version. I have updated this plugin to the latest, 1.7.6. Since then, I have not noticed any tabs disappearing, but it has only been a day. I would appreciate it if you kept this ticket open for 1 week while I keep an eye on it.

    However, I am still having issues with this particular product, even though it does have metadata currently attached to it. Here is a copy of the string:

    I have been monitoring the custom tabs on my site, and they are continuing to disappear. I am not sure why, but they are 100% still disappearing.
