Custom Template not being recognised
-
Hello,
I followed the below tutorial around adding custom templates however I don’t seem to be able to get the page to recognise the changes I am making to the event-editor.php file.
http://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/using-template-files/
To confirm is there any other settings I need to change in WP to activate this?
In terms of folder structures (local install):
I have copied the file from here.
/Applications/MAMP/htdocs/wp/wp-content/plugins/events-manager/templates/formsto:
/Applications/MAMP/htdocs/wp/wp-content/themes/Divi/plugins/events-manager/templates/formsIs this correct? DO I need to re-create each folder that I want to edit? For example if I want to edit the event-editor.php do I need to create a forms folder or just put it in templates folder?
I have tried removing the Where section of the event submission form to test it is being picked up. It works if edit the original one in the themes folder, but as soon as I try to put it in the theme folder it does not recognise it.
Does it matter between child or parent theme? I have tried both parent and child with no luck.
Thanks
