Custom Templates using custom post type

    Hi,

    I want to make some custom templates for my event bright detail pages. Does the plugin use a custom post type? Can it be used to create a single-xxx.php template? Alternatively how would you recommend going about making custom detail view templates for your plugin? Thank you.

    Hello @megabiters,

    We also provide an event management using custom post type called “eventbrite_events”. you can develop custom template for that into your theme.

    Hi Xylus,

    I have successfully listed out events using the “eventbrite_events” CPT as a test, if i wanted a custom single template (single.php) do i just use standard WordPress naming convention and create a template file called “single-eventbrite_events.php”? Thank you for your help.

    Hello @megabiters,

    Yes, You can create the single template as per standard WordPress naming convention. we are attaching an event details boxes to single event’s content. please remove that if you don’t require that.

    One last thing, do you use any special template tags i.e get_event_content as an alternative to get_content ? Or do you simply use the standard wordpress template tags?
