Custom theme help needed

Good morning,
I have created a custom theme, and the custom theme uses page templates to create certain effects such as page wrappers etc.

The latest page I created has it’s own custom page template, and also makes use of some custom fields that are added on the page, one of which is of field type “Wysiwyg Editor”.

I do however have an issue that custom formatting in the “Wysiwyg Editor” field, shows the correct font when copied from another place like for instance Word, but you do not have the rich text editing like you would for instance have in a blog post. I also notice that any spaces you leave in between lines when formatting, are removed once you publish the page.

Can anyone please suggest what the best way is to get around this issue?

I though of creating multiple “Text” type custom fields on the page, but then I would loose the ability of editing my text with bold colors and styles.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.
