Custom Theme loads extremely slow

    Just developed my first custom theme with Underscores on my local server and it runs great. When I move it to our staging server, the site loads extremely slow. I have tested on multiple hosting servers to make sure it was not an issue with our hosting company.

    I have run my theme through ThemeCheck and it came back with some minor issues…also did the W3C validator on the HTML to see if it found anything but nothing major came up. I am just looking for some help on where to start troubleshooting my issues and if anyone knew of a plugin that could tell me where a page is getting hung up when trying to load.

    what do you see when you look at it via tools.pingdom.com?

    Thanks for the response Steve, but I was able to figure it out.

    Simply some terrible coding where I included absolute urls in a couple of places when I first started coding my theme. The browser was timing out trying to load scripts and I have since fixed that problem.
