    YouTube’s preview (i.e., thumbnail or poster) options are very lame, only 3 options which are sometimes all undesirable. A great but small upgrade to this plugin would be a way to specify an arbitrary image for the video preview image.

    I would love to use this plugin, in fact I am using on a test/development version of my website. But the previews available from YouTube are so embarrassingly bad, that I cannot yet use it on the live website.

    Hi,

    If you take a look at the bottom of this plugin’s settings page in your admin panel, you’ll see a related survey. There, users can rate on the priority of adding customized previews as an option in the wizard.
