• Hi,
I have multi-language posts in my website. The title shows up in every language as needed, however, I have a Custom URL to go to a specific link with a newsletter but I cannot have two different URLs. How can I have one URL per language?

    Thanks
    Willie

  • Hi there,

This would require some customization on your Host/server side, as well as possibly a plugin such as WPML. You can find more information on it here:

    https://wpml.org/2016/04/use-wpml-different-domains-per-language/

Be sure to talk to your Host/server to make sure it can be done, they might be able to help you with the setup.

    Thank you nixiack8,
However, this means I need to re-program the whole website(s). One sub-domain for each language. Am I correct?

    Hi @ndfm

That sounds right but it’s more than we can help with here at WooCommerce. You could use a plugin like WPML to manage this for you or use the steps here from WordPress.com to make sense of how to do this per domain:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/set-up-a-multilingual-blog/

I’ll mark this question as resolved as it isn’t specific to WooCommerce.
