Custom User Role Can’t Access wp-admin

I’ve set up a custom user role called Photographer and given it all the correct permissions but a logged in photographer still can’t access wp-admin.

I also had a second custom role that used to have access to wp-admin but no can’t access it

I’m using Version 2.1.16

I’ve found out that it’s conflicting with WooCommerce, is there any way to use Ultimate Member and WooCommerce together?

Hi @refuelcreativeadam

Please try adding a Priority Number to the Photographer in the role settings.

Go to WP Admin > Ultimate Member > User Roles > Edit Photographer role > see “Priority Number” section.

hi @champsupertramp I just tried that but it didn’t help. I noticed there was a WooCommerce/Ultimate Member add on, do I need that just to get this to work?

The UM + WooCommerce extension allows you to change a user role on product purchases. It is also compatible with Woo Subscription that changes also the role on Subscription. You can contact us via our website regarding the extensions: https://ultimatemember.com/contact/sales/

Could you please provide a screenshot of the Photographer role settings?
Go to WP Admin > Ultimate Member > User Roles > Edit Photographer role.
