For some reason my store insists on using my store location to determine the taxes to be sold, despite me telling WooCommerce to use the customer’s shipping address.

I’ve cycled through the three different “Calculate tax based on” fields and it doesn’t seem to make any difference. I found one person who posted a year ago with the same problem but the resolution was to download and install a plugin. I was hoping that by now maybe someone might have an answer as to what is causing it and a fix.

    Hi there!

I understand your concern, and I’ve tried to replicate the issue on my test site but was unable to reproduce it. It seems like there might be specific settings on your site causing this issue.

To assist you better, could you please share screenshots of the settings configured on your site? Specifically, I need screenshots of the following:

    1. Tax Rates: The tax rates you’ve set for different countries, either as Standard Tax or Reduced Rate Tax. You can find these settings by navigating to WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > Standard Rates.
    2. General Tax Settings: The overall tax configuration, which can be found under WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > Tax Options.

If you don’t already have a screenshot tool installed, you can use Snipboard.io, a free and easy-to-use screenshot service.

Once we have this information, we’ll be happy to assist you further in resolving the issue.

    Looking forward to your reply!
