Each time I click the “Customer payment page” link on the backend order screen (a very neat feature since 2.5.0 by the way), it tells me “That doesn’t appear to be your order.”

Is there any way that this link can be used by an administrator to process a customer’s payment over the phone? It seems to me that that is what it is designed for but this error is stopping me.

I tried disabling plugins to see if that was what was causing it and it doesn’t seem to be that.

    Thanks,
    Paul

This link is not to do a checkout as a user, it’s just a link which can be copy/pasted/sent to a user to pay for an order you create for them.

It would be really convenient if it were since there is no credit card payment functionality in the back end. For now I will have to have my customer service reps switch to that customer account (via a plugin) then use that link. A time-consuming workaround, but I guess my only option at this point.

I wonder if you could customise that link to also trigger user switching, or whatever plugin you’re using for that.

That’s a valid point and something I’ll have to look into. Thanks.
