1) This is a more complex feature that also only a small portion of our users would use. So I can’t make it part of the free version. I am thinking of a paid version of our plugin where this could be a feature.
2) This feature could only be used with a long disclaimer. Getting that tracking to be accurate would be very difficult. There are many situations where the result would be very inaccurate. Following are a few challenges that are almost impossible to find a solution for:
– What if the customer finds your shop on a mobile phone, but then uses the desktop computer to check out?
– What if the customer clicks on many different campaigns (Facebook, Email, Google Ads, etc.) and then buys. How to attribute this to Google Ads correctly?
– etc.
So, what you are asking would only work well for last click conversions on the same machine. And that is only around 60% to 70% of all customers in average.
I will put it on the feature list in case I start developing a paid version of our plugin.
